A 160-unit residential development in Boston’s South End. The Girard is designed to build upon the SoWA district’s liveliness with active ground floor retail/restaurant space and curated artist exhibits throughout the corridors. The design team was able to maximize the site’s value by utilizing an innovative structural stud and composite deck system which fit 7 stories above grade within the 70-foot zoning envelope.
Amenity spaces on the 7th floor and roof take advantage of panoramic views of the city and seascape.
